This error related to Internet Explorer could occur due to third party extensions on the computer. Mshtml.dll is a Windows system files.

 

When exactly does Internet Explorer crash? Is it while accessing any website?

 

Mshtml.dll is at the heart of Internet Explorer and takes care of its HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) parsing and rendering functionality.

 

Let’s verify if add-ons are the cause of the issue. Follow the methods:

Method 1:

From the same link, you may also check if disabling “Enhanced Protected Mode” resolves the issue.

Method 2:

I would suggest you to check if the issue still persists in safe mode with networking. Follow the steps:

Step 1:

Check if Internet Explorer crashes. If not, proceed to the next step.

 

Step 2:
